A Junior Web Designer / Developer is required by our client based near Harpenden in Hertfordshire. The successful candidate is likely to be a Multimedia Graduate looking to work as a Front End Designer / Development on a wide range of exciting projects. You will receive a salary of up to £25,000 is offered.

Skills Required

- Strong Web Design Skills.
- Proven experience of JavaScript, HTML / XHTML, CSS in a cross-browser environment.
- Awareness of WAI Accessibility Guidelines and W3C Standard is vital.
- Proven experience of working on e-commerce sites.
- Multimedia / IT Graduate (desirable)

You will be responsible for the front end build & maintenance of a range of e-commerce web sites ranging from small brochure websites through to large integrated, database-backed systems and ecommerce applications. This includes not only web development & design, but also management of content, optimisation and sales performance.
